Unbind the shackles that claimed me Appease the inner turmoil Making a sane mind irrational Nuts and bolts not functional I cried in a dark corner For my trust was put asunder Liberation was my prison Heart two shades lighter than crimson Longing to give you my all Evil deeds made my spirit fall Prey to vultures Giving my spirit ulcers Present to lend a helping hand Repaid by flipping a kindness to suit you Defile my name Spit on my frame Skin and grin influence to commit sin Lessons learned the hard ways Friends vs. acquaintances Knives in backs Can't buy friendship So it's the caddy I lack I thought this move would liberate me From the monotony of high school immaturity Years of higher education providing no solace Running from strict rules Crime and rude dudes To my present prison A victim of monopolized capitalism
