 Do you remember that little girl from the 6th grade with the weird hair? The one you used to pick on all the time? Guess what? She grew up to look gooooooood! You might want to start writing your letter of apology now.
On your toplatinmodels.net profile, you say you're a big fan of the UFC and the NFL. Who is your favorite UFC fighter and why? Randy "The Natural" Couture: He really is a class act fighter, not only is he an amazing fighter but he is twice the age of all the other fighters! He is a really confident guy who doesn't let anybody ruin his spirit. Oh yeah, he is a cutie too J Who is your favorite NFL Team? Chicago Bears  What in the world made you think that your derriere was too big for you to become a model? Ummm,lol, I grew up watching supermodels like Christie Brinkley, Kate Moss, and Cindy Crawford, none of which had a large derriere. I think having curves on models is a newer thing - which opened the door to women like me! What's your favorite video game? I might sound old - but Mrs. Pacman is sooo awesome! PlayStation, X-Box or Wii? Wii all the way!! I can bowl and box in the same day! I also see that you are a professional belly and hip-hop dancer! Tell us about some of your performances? I danced hip-hop in college with some really talented dancers. We had a great (and busy) time! We had sponsorships by Reebok, Fox and Pro-Player - which allowed us to travel and perform for some large audiences. We preformed at Niner, Raider, A's, Giants, and Sharks games - as well as competitions. Belly Dancing is in my blood and I love every moment of it! I want the entertainment industry to notice it more and incorporate it in sexy videos. That would be a cool gig! Do you have any videos of your dancing online that we can check out? I don't think so - not that I know of yet! Tell us about your website - http://www.taniasimon.com/ - I see it's under construction. When will it be complete - and what should we expect to see? It is being worked as we speak and hopefully be completed within the next month or so. I will have my gallery up there as well as updates on appearances and events I will be attending.  Tell us about how you got into modeling. How old were you when this happened? It was very recent. A guy with TNLG models submitted my picture to a magazine. They loved me so much, they made me a centerfold! It was really cool! Tell me about your modeling career - where might we have seen you before? I just did Lowrider Girls for July/August 2008. I was so nervous because it was a bikini shoot on the beach in front of so many tourists in the cold weather. In high school, were you considered the ugly duckling or were you always beautiful? Oh gosh, I would say more like the life of the party who got along with almost everyone. My ugly duckling phase ended in 6th grade! The hair was not cute at all. Has anyone ever told you that you couldn't be a model? If yes - what did they say was the reason you wouldn't make it Yes, somebody really close to me told me I was too short. When did you realize that they were full of shit? When people asked me to be in magazines and on commercial websites, I figured maybe it is a possibility! Tell us about a time when you felt like giving up on modeling? I haven't felt that way as of yet J Love v/s passion - what's your stance? Are they the same thing? I get them confused sometimes, lol!! Passion is really important to me, but love lasts a lot longer. I am a passionate person and love being with people who also have that passion inside them. It makes life more exciting ;) Sexually,do you prefer men, women, or both? I love my men very much!  Overall, guys don't mind if a woman is bisexual (Especially if they can share!). Would you date a bisexual man? Why do you think there's a double standard? I am not comfortable dating a bisexual man. Not only do I have to worry about him cheating on me with another woman, but I have to worry about men too. No thanks!! Since beauty is only skin deep, what best describes you as a person? My sense of humor and goofiness. My beauty will fade but I will always be having fun! Do you fall into the cliche - look good, but dumb as rocks. I have my blond moments, but overall I would say no. I have my degree in business and I'm street savvy, so nobody can pull a fast one on me. J Do you think men are intimated by your beauty? If so, why? I think at first when they don't talk to me but once we have conversation they are totally at ease. Later on, they get more intimidated by strong personality for some reason :/ When going to clubs or bars, do you buy your own drinks? Men usually offer me drinks - but I get in moods where I just don't want to talk to anyone and would rather pay for my own. Tell us about the first time you broke someone's heart. I still feel bad and it was 12 years ago. I really led him on and made him fall for me, then I just decided I wanted to be single. I know, it was a mean girl move. Tell us about the last time you had your heart broken. I got out of a relationship about a year ago. It hurt us both - but it was the best thing for us. It was heartbreaking - but in a good way. You have an amazing portfolio with lots or variety. Of all the pictures on your site, which ones did you enjoy taking the most? I love the one of me in my bed. I was so comfortable, it was my own bed and since I love to sleep I felt right at ease.  Where are some of the places you've travelled that you would not want go to again and why? I haven't traveled for a shoot out of LA yet but I will be going to Miami and New York for shoots in the next few months. Have you ever posed nude? No If you had $10,000 to buy only clothes at just 3 stores, and you had only one day to do it, what are the names of 3 stores, where are they located, and what you would buy? Oh what a tough one! Chanel, Cavalli, and Versace! Chanel has beautiful suits, Cavalli has great everyday clothes and Versace has the most beautiful dresses! Do you sometimes feel stereotyped or treated negatively by men or other women because of your modeling? People think I am an airhead - but the minute I act intelligent, they get intimidated and think I am too confident. People always judge either way, unfortunately. What is a normal day like for you? I wake up (late), take my dog out to play with the other Chihuahuas in the neighborhood, go on auditions (I am also an actress), email and look at castings on the computer, schedule photoshoots, and go to work. How often do you work out? I am trying to be better these days, right now about 4 days a week. I just got a trainer who kicks my butt! What's your favorite exercise? Dancing and swimming What do you like to do for fun? I am hooked on bowling! Other than modeling, what other talents do you have? Other than dancing and acting, I have been a make-up artist for 11 years and was a competitive swimmer and water polo player. What is your ultimate goal for your modeling career? I want to have my own skin care line that is recognized in the world of modeling - and be the face of my amazing line! The men (and some of the ladies) want to know! Are you married, single, or in a relationship? I am single!  What type of men do you try to avoid? Angry men who are so scared of rejection they walk around with a chip on their shoulder. If you could go anywhere in the world tomorrow, where would you go and why? I want to run off to Italy, drink wine in a villa and meet wonderful people. What type of modeling do you enjoy the most (fashion photos, swimsuit, runway, sexyspreads, artistic layouts, theme shots, or other) I enjoy taking pictures in general. I had a lot of fun with glamour/sexy themed shoots as well as commercial and goofy shoots. Have you ever had any "drama" with other models during auditions or appearances? If so - tell us about it? No, when I go to auditions, the models and actresses are usually cool and we just talk to each other about the biz. Has anyone ever asked you or tried to force you to do something crazy or wrong to land a modeling job? Yes! And got out of that situation real quick! What was you proudest moment as a model? When people started asking me for an autograph and to take pictures with me! It doesn't get more flattering than that! What do you think is your best feature? My skin. What do others say is your best feature? My skin and my derriere! How does your family feel about your modeling career? They are a little worried since the life of an artist is so inconsistent, but they have faith.  Who are your favorite famous models? What do you like about them? I love Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington. They are such natural beauties and still look hot today in their 40's! What is the most important thing in your life right now? My family, they are my rock. On a scale of 1 to 10, how important is sex in a relationship? 10! It keeps the relationship exciting and alive. What is the sexiest thing about men? Their hands! What is the sexiest thing about women? Our curves and soft skin. What advice would you give to the other models out there that are trying to make their dreams come true? There are many different types of modeling, go into the one you want to go in, not what others tell you to do. In the end, if you love what you do you will be successful and happy.
