The Simplest Of Things

God has blessed me

Though there is much to learn

The feeling of completetion

Has yet to be earned

He shines his light

And lets me know

The time has come

For me to grow

To learn the truth

And honor his name

To teach others

They must do the same

The journey will begin

When I give myself freely

Take his word in my hands

And give it to the greedy

Although my closeness

Has fed me in the past

I need something more

Something stronger to last

And in my heart

I feel the embrace

He turns no one away

With him I am safe

So to all who read

I want you to know

God loves us all

Just open your heart so he can show........
