My soul shattered and became glass
Reflecting only what might have been
Like Shakespeare lifting his quill
Giving life to his words
I collected the shards of myself
Mingled with blood I wrote with mutilated hands
"Existence is unbecoming of you
I will be broken no longer"
I sealed this letter
And met you in an alley
Pressing you against the brick
Hissing in your ear
"All hail the heartbreaker"
Dropping my confessions at your feet
Leaving you with pieces of me still intact

Touching poem and impressive. Was it inspired by a life experience?

Beautiful, I am glad you can relate although it is a sucky situation I always like for my poetry to touch someone. Thank you very much for taking time to read :)

I think that the person who wrote this poem is an amazing girl, and I only wish she would share her great work more often. She's pretty incredible.

You seem to be very talented. A beautiful woman with a seemingly beautiful mind. I think you will make it very big one day. Best of luck to you.
