Days and nights come and go and still.....no sign of what once was

I look around and see our pictures and that is the only reminder of us

No letters or words of encouragement, like it used to be

You left me with nothing but the sweetest memories

I sit alone and think about it and it drives me insane

The risk you took and left me behind and even so, this love still remains

I walk through life in confusion trying to keep my inner peace

Still knowing that there is a possibility that what we had has ceased

You have already let go because you think I have failed

The truth has yet to surface and the lies have not unveiled

I look at our creation that was made of love and unity

Wondering if he will have to suffer this dreadful pain like me

He may not recognize who you are and the bond has gone away

You had a choice to make and you decided not to stay

So please stop blaming me for I told you not to go

I sat here and cried and waited and now I have nothing to show

Single with the children is my name with no expression

The love of my life slipped away and now we lost connection

In my heart love still lives and your face is implanted in my soul

I can not make you feel the same but without you I'm not whole

You tryed to push me away, I pulled closer, only to see my heart shatter

You made me feel as if this thing we had never really mattered

So to this story there is no end for we have yet to reunite

I patiently wait for your arrival to see if our flame will reignite
