For a Friend

A special note to a special friend, from the Poetic Dove!

I handed you my love without no hesitation
No whats ifs? No hows? No proper speculations
We had our good times and bad running fingers through my hair
But when I really needed you, you were never there, unaware
Time turned into a fight as I struggled to rest my head peacefully at night
Whats up with the delay? You know that wasn't right
Why all the secrets? What am I chopped liver?
I need a man who is proud and his woman be his queen and the winner
Of his world, his heart, even if eventually we bow out and part
While time is spent with no regrets we have each others hearts
Now and again I wonder why something right can have a wrong
In each others arms was something beautiful and strong
United in one world with bliss on our sleeves
All along no one knew that you were loving me
But it's cool I played the fool and its not a foreign game
Just don't get pissed off when I do the same
My love remains and when you gaze into my eyes you already know
Love lives in my eyes, with no disguise and the ability to make it grow
I'm the leader of my world there is none like me
That why I hold the title of every victory
So you see my love sometimes we have to let our hearts lead the way
You might find yourself alone in a zone and your loved one went astray.
